I'm in love with this cute "Star Trek" fanfiction.
It's called "As Morning Shows the Day" by jade_dragoness.
(The fanfic can be found at her LiveJournal account.)
Basically, Spock has accidentally regressed into the mental and physical state of a child.
Only by experiencing happiness will he turn back into the old Spock we all know and love. Jim assumes the sole responsibility of caring for kid!Spock - causing much fluffiness.

Although I enjoy Kirk/Spock slash, this fic is more like the two boys getting to know each other more on an emotional level. In other words, becoming actual friends.

I used a popular "Ouran High School Host Club" image as a reference. Did the lineart in Illustrator with a mouse (with HEAVY editing). Imported the paths into Photoshop and colored the image there.

I totally screwed up the light sources here. It looks more like there are two light sources (which is possible, if I claim, "Oh they're posing for a photograph and Jim pulled Spock closer into the picture.")

Drawing the actual characters was tough! Kirk's hair was so difficult to imagine in "anime" style...

"Star Trek" and "Ouran" does not belong to me!

So cute! Just stumbled across the story and I love it (and your fanart)! I love how Kirk is acting so possessive and the two light sources really don't bother me at all. Spock's hair may be a tad too purple, but that only places more emphasis on his Vulcan idenity. Thanks for creating this fabulous art!
